It is often said that wineries are a passion business. We agree. When the opportunity to purchase the property on De Portola Road presented itself, our founders immediately knew the idyllic location, perched high on the hill with magnificent views, was the perfect setting to bring that passion to life. Eight local families who enjoy wine, food, and each other, joined forces to build a legacy project for themselves and their families. We believe that just like sharing good meals together, wine has the power to bring us together and enjoy the moments that make life special. We wanted to build a unique and beautiful atmosphere where many special moments could be created with our family and friends…and our future friends. Thus, De Portola Estate Winery was born.
